Make The Load Lighter Blog

 on Wednesday, April 03, 2013

Generally we would want our blog to look pretty, at least we want to show that our blog is a reflection or representation of ourselves, navigation is cool, so it needs a lot of widgets. As I experienced, I wanted my blog gadgets like smartphones that have more features / amenities. But unfortunately that desire must be paid to the large size of my blog, and the length of time required for loading. Arising as a result, we will feel tired of waiting. So if the owner got bored especially our blog visitors. Automatic traffic levels on our blog will never go up. But if you use a domain and paid hosting it may not be problematic. But if we are still using a free platform from blogspot, should look pretty cool and should be considered carefully. Be your choice whether you still want to look pretty and cool but not sold, or simple but a lot of fans. (Yes obviously pretty cool and a lot of fans), if you want your blog to look pretty and a lot of visitors then my advice would just as soon buy a domain and hosting, but if your wallet is thin, try reading How Easy Tips For Make The Load Lighter Blog below but for its application as a way to keep up your SEO optimization.

How To SEO optimization a Blog
  1. Enable GZIP Compression with
  2. Modern browsers typically support compression for HTML, CSS and Javascript. Perform compression on three files that will save time loading pages and automatically would be a reduction in download time. The smart webmasters out there we strongly recommend using compressed with gzip. For techniques and tutorials Gzip not I attach here, please search on google .. have a lot. However, if you are using Blogspot platform just ignore this as the default compression blogspot itself already supports these techniques. For users of other plaform like WordPress, please use gzip compression or if not you should bother to use Gzip just use WP Super Cache plugin.

  3. Dispose of empty spacing in the HTML
  4. Removing empty Spaces as well as the compression technique, ie by compressing HTML, XML or PHP by removing spaces were deemed useless. One of them includes the Inline for Javascript and CSS code. By removing the empty space will certainly save many bytes of data and the impact will speed up the download process. To discard unnecessary spacing I usually use tools like Notepad + + Editor. It's easy, by blocking all the code you want spaces removed TextFX then select menu -> TextFX Edit and select Delete Delete Surplus Blank Lines or Blank Lines.

  5. Perform Compression CSS (stylesheet)
  6. CSS compression technique is actually quite simple, almost the same way as above, namely by removing unneeded space. Compacting CSS coding can also be intensified when downloading, parsing and execution time on a page. Please use the free tools that are widely available such as YUI Compressor and cssmin.js.

  7. Put the CSS (stylesheet) on Top
  8. Sometimes we do not put the CSS in the header, it usually means we use to create a single style to a particular style on the widget. The webmasters who are experts usually suggest we should call all the CSS code in the page HEAD CSS either Internal or External CSS should be the one calling all the headers.

  9. Remove CSS (stylesheet) unnecessary
  10. When the browser to access the page, usually have to go through the download process and analyze each line of code in the CSS (stylesheet) first, imagine if a lot gratuitous CSS code to be processed but not executed at all! This will be very annoying as it will hinder the process of rendering that should be faster!

  11. Check the Validate CSS (stylesheet)
  12. Despite frequent mistakes in writing CSS code, broser will not display any error messages on the screen, all executions will continue to run without any error report even though it was only a one in one letter only. Let's not ignore this error, please check validation.

  13. The combination of CSS (stylesheet) in the External File
  14. Disadvantages Internal CSS is only one measure of the swelling capacity (size) on the size of the page. Experienced webmasters should always advised us to call the CSS code with external access, if possible, even better do a combination of all the CSS code in just one file. (For blogger users ignore this technique because it would be great to internal calls)

  15. Perform Javascript Compression
  16. Javacsript compression technique similar to the CSS that is by removing unnecessary spaces. Compacting Javacript coding can also be intensified when downloading, parsing and execution time on a page. For simplicity we do the compression on javascript please use the free tools that are widely available as the YUI Compressor, Closure Compiler and JSMin

  17. Remove Javascript is not Need
  18. Like it or not the use javacript (JS) is sometimes very necessary, although JS sometimes makes loading pages will be heavier. When a browser accesses a page, usually have to go through the process of downloading and analyzing the code in JS first, imagine if a lot of JS calls in vain to be processed but not executed at all! Please go back and JS code which we think is not useful, check back and do not park too long, if it is not used effectively deleting it!

  19. The combination of Javascript in External File
  20. Almost the same is the case with the above CSS External, Internal javascript only one drawback is the size of the swelling capacity (size) on the size of the page. Experienced webmasters always suggesting we should do calls via external access, if possible, even better do a combination of all coding JS in just one file. (For blogger users should if possible dial through internal files only).

  21. Perform Image Optimization
  22. Dynamic websites without decorated picture would not attract sufficient, but excessive use of the image will be a problem when the browser to download the page. Should reduce unnecessary images, especially the images that have a large enough size. If it is forced to use it, you should do the optimization in the images by means of compression without compromising image quality. My suggestion please use Yahoo! Smush.it

  23. Do not Scale Images in HTML Forced
  24. Avoid using large images just because we can set the width and height in HMTL, we are able to rearrange the images as you please with CSS or in <img> tag as in the following html <img width = "100" height = "100" src = "image.jpg" /> although the actual image size is 200x200px should not shrink by resetting scale images, it is better we make a 100x100px image according to the size of the actual image.

  25. Avoid Image SRC empty
  26. Calling SRC tags to images common to two possibilities, either through HTML <img scr=""> or via Javascript var img = new Image (); img.src = ""; although browsers ignore this request if the image is empty, still it is through the process of rendering that should not overload the server. Please check back blank SRC, if it is not used effectively deleting it.

  27. Check Back Broken link
  28. Links are already dead would not like readers, let readers .. search engines do not like this though. Make checks broken links as often as possible, many tools on the internet that can perform this task, the best one could use the tools of the W3C Checklink

  29. Remove widget or plugin not Need
  30. Widget is too much just makes the page so the more weight, especially the widget is not so useful. Please visit us again aggregated aggregated widgets maanfaat supposing nothing at all like clocks and calendars. Use the widget if only you consider important. Eg; Link / blogroll, Tag Cloud, Search, Labels, Archive Blog, Stats. Logically, on every computer already provides such, clock, calendar. Are supposing clock and calendar widget on your blog visitors expect?

  31. Keep content / blog content such as text.
  32. Reduce the use of images, both * jpg or * swf flash format excessive despite its size tends to be smaller.

  33. Wear script code that has important benefits only.
  34. For example: Google Analystic, etc..
  35. Visitors, most would rather not blog neat and untidy.
